Orthodox Union (OU)
Opportunity for USA Jewish nonprofit entrepreneurs that serve the North American Jewish community to receive funding of $25,000, and to participate in a mentoring and education program. The program supports ventures that provide services and goods to the Orthodox community in ways that are related to its unique cultural or religious needs and that might not otherwise be made available to the community.
The accelerator aims to address critical needs of the Jewish community through innovative solutions. The Fund looks for four main criteria when evaluating applications: communal need, innovation, maturity, leadership, and potential for impact.
The accelerator is a 10-month program that includes on-site seminars and personal training to expand ventures and their impact. The program will culminate with a community Demo Day to present ventures to potential investors and community members. Requirements for completing the program include preparation, attendance, and active participation in on-site seminars as well as consistent and visible growth.
Recipients will receive:
GrantWatch ID#: 186611
The Accelerator awards the selected nonprofits with $25,000 upon successful completion of the Accelerator cohort.
